Outstaff are seeking self motivated and flexible people interested in working as pickers in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry.

We have a number of positions available, with days and night shifts available, as well as overtime to top up your earnings.


This position is responsible for picking material off of a picking belt, to clear blockages and provide general labouring duties if required.

Overalls and Safety boots must be worn on site at all times

Key Responsibilities


  • Contribute towards the efficient running of the operation
  • Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained
  • Co-ordinate with other operatives to ensure the correct processing of all loads
  • Perform such other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
  • Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety and Community

Hours of work:


We have day and night shifts available at our plant - There will be Saturday working available 07:1- 12:00 but this is optional.


Shifts are as below:

  • Night Shift 5pm 4am


  • Day Shift

  • Mon-Thurs, 7.15am 5.30pm
  • Fridays am 5.00pm
  • Saturdays 7:15am 12:00pm

Key Skills/Competencies

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Selfmotivated, flexible and adaptable
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • A strong safe working ethos
  • Experience of medium or heavy industry desirable
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health and Safety issues
  • Previous picking experience favoured but not a necessity

Temp to perm position after 12 weeks.

This position is for an immediate start

Salary:
£10.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
