I am representing a hugely successful global insurer and subsidiary of a top ten US insurer, presently operating successfully in the UK commercial insurance market via London.

Focusing on Commercial Combined and Property Owners risks, they are now lookingto recruit an experienced underwriting professional to spearhead their Manchester based regional operation.

Based out of prestigious city centre offices your immediate focus will be on establishing a local presence in the Manchester market, underwriting profitable risks in the mid-market arena.

Subsequently you will recruit and manage a team of underwriters inline with growth plans, and will have the opportunity to drive the business forwards, playing a key role in their longer term plans to expand throughout the UK regions.

Essentially you will be a highly skilled Property and Casualty underwriter with an established network of contacts throughout the North West and potentially wider regions.

My client offers considerable autonomy and empowerment and as such you must be capableof creating and implementing a strategy that will result in the successful establishment of a profitable regional book of business.

Leadership experience would be highly advantageous however is not essential for the right individual.
