Responsibilities- Direct line management for a team of 8 Site Trainers- Full KPI ownership for training metrics for compliance- Full ownership of the site training budget for internal and external training requirements- Define and execute the site training agenda- Design and lead projects to deliver the training strategy- Identify and execute strategic workstreams to return productivity and improve QCDM compliance, through skills development- Lead Benchmax as a compliance management system in line with duty holder requirements- Work within the- Manufacturing Performance Excellence team to deliver site must win battles Deliver engaging, effective and technically competent training packages to ensure a safe, trained and capable workforce- Control and continually improve training materials, deployment and compliance in line with feedback from site training team, Shift leadership team, Business Unit Expert Trainers and other relevant stakeholders to achieve standardised packages- Ensure that validation of learning is a mainstay in all department inputs / outputs- Utilise Manufacturing Performance Excellence and Site training team to lead Standard Work development and deployment across Shift Leadership Teams
Qualifications- Line Management - ability to lead and engage teams- Self-Starter - must be able to work on own initiative- Logical thinker - links short term action into long term impact- Communication skills - able to influence multi stakeholder groups- Embraces / manages change - ability to react to changing priorities Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and negotiate effectively across all shifts and SLT- Experience of Lean Manufacturing - techniques and terminology- Flexible - project implementation across shift pattern
