Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer at Property Maintenance (Bristol)

Location - Central Bristol

Contractual Working Hours - Monday to Friday

The role also involves providing an 'out of hours' standby service as required, which includes evenings and weekend work.

This is in addition to the contractual hours for which you will receive additional pay/compensation, details of which will be discussedat the interview.

Salary - up to £35,000 per annum

Contract - Permanent


Who are the company? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small family business to deliver property maintenance services, undertaking repair activities predominantly within tenants homes.


What makes a successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer? You'll be an expert in resolving general domestic residential maintenance issues and will have the ability to carry out a variety of maintenance related tasks including carpentry, basic electricaltasks, and minor plumbing.


You will:
- have a great eye for detail and experience being the first point of contact for all domestic residential property maintenance requirements
- have a positive attitude, be adaptable to a range of duties and keen to problem solve
- complete planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities; by using your hands-on skills and liaise with the relevant contractors for specific tasks
- have the ability to determine cost effective solutions to repairs.
- have the ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision when carrying out day-to-day responsibilities
- be someone who cares passionately about creating a positive, clean, and safe living environment
- have an understanding of Health and Safety processes at a residential development
- hold a Full UK manual driving licence (company van and uniform provided)
