What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities:


  • Issue Survival Suits and Lifejackets to those travelling offshore
  • Check that passengers are wearing all safety equipment correctly
  • Deliver a verbal safety brief to passengers prior to them boarding the aircraft
  • Meet all inbound flights and ensure all safety equipment is returned correctly
  • Prepare returned suits for delivery back to the service centre for inspection
  • Carry out daily checks on Lifejackets, Emergency Breathing Systems and PLB's
  • Prepare flight paperwork to Survitec and regulatory standards
  • Manage Survival Suit and Lifejacket stock levels at heliport sites
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders
  • Raise suggestions to improve our products and processes
  • Ensure assigned daily workload is achieved to meet customer requirements and targets

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria

  • Educated to high school level or equivalent
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can confidently communicate verbally to groups of people
  • Understand the importance of survival equipment and have an appreciation of how adhering to company procedures is crucial
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Appetite to deliver work schedule
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Requirement to work shifts including weekend working rota
  • Must be willing to travel between all Aberdeen heliport sites
