Airline Reservations agent:


  • Required for this expanding airline based in West London. They are looking for an experience airline reservations agent with Amadeus knowledge to work in the office 4 days a week and 1 day from home. Salary around £26,000 plus benefits

Airline reservations agents duties

  • Taking reservations calls from both direct passengers and trade partners
  • Generating airline bookings, changes, ancillaries, etc. and issuing/reissuing tickets/EMD's (auto & manual farebuild)
  • Processing invoices and payments of airline tickets, whilst adhering to strict airline and company reporting guidelines
  • Daily & monthly airline sales reports and reconciliation
  • Providing excellent customer service both on the telephone and facetoface
  • Dealing with ticket reissues, upgrades, reroutes, lost tickets etc. both over the phone and facetoface
  • Group bookings and tour operator allocations, including issuing of contractual terms & conditions in conformance to individual airline protocols
  • Liaising with Airlines' local management and head office

Airline reservations agents skills required

  • Minimum two years' experience in an airline reservations and ticketing role
  • Strong Reservations, Fares & E-Ticketing experience in Amadeus
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team
