The Supply Room are working closely with a modern and innovative Secondary school located in Bournemouth.

They are focussed on creating ambitious, confident, independent, and resilient young people who are prepared to contribute to the wider community upon leaving school.

They are in the need of a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

You will be positioned in their nurture provision where they aim to bridge the gap for students displaying special educational needs and disabilities, such as SEN and SEMH.

This area enables them to reach their full potential across their wide and varied curriculum.


This position is to work Monday to Friday starting in April 2024, with an average of 30 to 35 hours per week, with a competitive daily rate of £80 to £90 per day.


As a Teaching Assistant your main responsibility will be to assist individual students and groups of students with special educational needs including physical disabilities, to learn, achieve success, and develop.

You will provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.

It is important you model high standards of dress, punctuality, and attendance. You will undertake any relevant training as required to help support your position and enhance personal development.


We are looking for individuals who are graduates looking to get into teaching, individuals with prior experience tutoring or supporting vulnerable individuals.

Previous experience with SEN and SEMH will be desirable. You will be proactive and enthusiastic in the classroom, promoting a positive schooling experience with all students.

Salary:
£80.00-£90.00 per day
