This post is an exciting opportunity for a doctor with UK experience in Haematology at STR level keen to gain further myeloma experience, or for post-CCT trainees who wish to specialise in myeloma.

Duties will primarily cover all aspects of the care of patients with Acute Myeloid and Lymphoblastic leukaemia's, MDS, CML and patients undergoing stem cell transplantation.

The post holder will be expected to play an active role in research and contribute to the management of patients in clinical trials.

There will be the opportunity for independent audit and research.

The post holder will be expected to play an active role in research and contribute to the management of patients in clinical trials.

There will be the opportunity for independent audit and research.


The post holder will be allocated an Educational Supervisor for the duration of their training who will be responsible for ensuring that a Personal Learning Plan is drawn up and that all training needs and competency assessments are met.

Applicants will need at least 2 years' experience in Haematology, MRCP, and will preferably have at least their FRCPath Part 1.
