Maintenance Operative

£24,489 - £26,051- Excellent Benefits**Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a knack for general maintenance and repairs?

We are currently seeking a proactive
Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of a
school environment.

If you have a passion for hands-on maintenance work, a commitment to adhering to safety guidelines, and the ability to adapt to various tasks, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of general maintenance duties and
repairs based on the docket system.
Participate in an oncall rotation schedule with colleagues to address
maintenance emergencies

Conduct
periodic testing in accordance with prevailing
Health and Safety guidelines.
Assemble towers and scaffolds as needed for maintenance tasks.
Contribute to planned refurbishment and project work, showcasing your skills.
Offer basic onsite support for
fire detection systems,
security alarms, and boilers.
Accompany contractors and visitors around the school premises when required.
Assist with car parking duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Full clean driving licence
Level 2 Certificate in Property, Caretaking and Facilities Services or equivalent
PASMA Certificate of competence or equivalent
IPAF 3a & b or equivalent
