Are you an experienced
Data Scientist with a strong background in numeracy and a passion for developing cutting-edge algorithms? We are currently seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our client's Promotions team.

As a Data Scientist, you will develop algorithms using statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment, using
Python (Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy) to produce data-driven solutions that have a significant impact on the business.

In this role, you will focus on identifying the best promotional terms (e.g. pricing, amounts) to maximize customer take-up and value to the organization.

You will analyse observational data, identify hypotheses for possible unknown relationships, determinetheir commercial relevance, and design and implement tests to evaluate them.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent, and a background in Probability & Statistics.

You should have a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and experience with programminglanguages such as
Python, Java, C/C++, or similar.

Additionally, you should have experience with tools such as
Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, R, Matlab, and/or SQL, as well as an understanding of web technologies.

We are looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously in an unstructured environment.

You should have demonstrable experience using machine learning techniques and be able to show a track record of developing successful algorithms.
