The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate, and caring Level 3 Learning Assistant to provide support within our STRIDE (ASD) Provision at Wargrave Primary School.

STRIDE is a specialist resourced provision, for children with autism as their primary need and places are allocated through the EHCP process.

There are two classes within our STRIDE provision (Year - Year 6) and each class is supported with a Teacher and two Senior Learning Assistants (Level 3).

The provision offers a blended approach of mainstream primary and a bespoke TEACCH (ASD specific) base for the children. STRIDE is situated in heart of the school and collaborative working is paramount.


This role will also include working with a variety of children (Year - Year 6) with different needs and implementing ASD specific strategies.

Furthermore, supporting communication, life skills, challenging behaviour, sensory and changing requirements.
