The Role:


As the Finance Manager for EMEA, you will be responsible for will be managing the UK GL Accounting team and will be responsible for providing reliable management information for management reporting on a timely basis.


You will supervise and mentor their team with day-to-day activities within the Deckers UK entities and Deckers Macau plus focusing on the Wholesale channel.


You will be supporting the Senior Finance Manger on EMEA financial close management, team building and EMEA finance projects, with additional responsibilities as required around quarter-end and ad-hoc tasks as directed.


Your Impact:


  • Own the General Ledgers and all internal/external reporting and compliance requirements for the UK legal entities Deckers Europe Ltd (DEL), Deckers UK (DUK) & Deckers Macau.
  • Managing EMEA Head Office& Showroom costs.
  • Managing the Wholesale & Distributor sales activities and Inventory for Deckers EMEA markets.
  • Managing and monitor the Fixed Assets and Intercompany process for all EMEA entities.
  • UK GL team management and team building.
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager with EMEA projects and team empowerment.
  • Assisting in other areas within the EMEA GL team on an adhoc basis

Who You Are:


  • Always acts with a high degree of integrity with the ability to handle confidential and sometimes highly sensitive matters in the appropriate manner
  • Uses selfguided judgement in performing all duties of the position
  • Able to effectively prioritise and implement tasks in a highpressure, fastmoving environment
  • Fosters and processes change and able to implement transformation initiatives
  • Great communicator and leader able to coach and develop a team

We would love to hear from people with:

  • Professional Finance Qualifications (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with credible industry experience
  • Experience within consumer industry / wholesale and inventory
  • Experience in statutory accounts preparation and audit
  • Previous experience within an EMEA / US facing and multicurrency environment is a plus
  • Experience of SOX Controls is a plus
  • Expertise in guiding and developing teams
