The Company recruiting for the Medical Field Service Engineer:

The current UK fieldengineering team has 20 current engineers who have been part of the company for various lengths of time so you can rest assured that guidance and support will always be on hand.

The Role of the Medical Field Service Engineer:

Joining as a medical field service engineer, you will be tasked with the service, repair and installation of water treatment systems in hospitals and healthcare settings across the south of the UK.

You'll be involved with everything from motors, pipework,and pumps, through to plant rooms and HMI systems. Repairs will be approximately 55% of the role, servicing is 45% and installations are about 5%. The nature of the equipment will require basic reports to be compiled for future traceability and compliance.
It is a Mon-Fri role with on call 1 in 4 weeks, with generous overtime and standby bonus. Typically, 70-80% of the on-call callouts can be repaired over the phone.

As a medical field service engineer, you will be mechanically biased but have an electrical understanding and appreciation. This role doesn't require specific medical experience as training will be provided but strong customer service skills are essential.
