A key aspect of this role is delivering and enabling effective communication across the global function, with other internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.

Responsible for system strategy and the reporting of performance against Purchasing KPI's.

  • Creating and delivering the strategy for functional systems that enable efficient sourcing, supply management and requisition to pay processes, globally
  • Ensuring that the performance and progress of both the function and the supply base is reported reliably and consistently based on high quality data.
  • Collation and reporting of all costs.
  • Creating and maintaining Group Purchasing Polices and supporting SOP's and ensuring that these are adhered to at all times

Criteria

  • Purchasing in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Working within a global and matrix organisation
  • People Management
  • Graduate calibre
  • Several years of relevant experience
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
