School Travel Specialist

School Travel Specialist - Role & Responsibilities:

Work with teachers to ensure the school groups receive the full benefit of learning outside of the classroom and maximising the educational aspect of the trip.
Respond to correspondence to manage enquiries and deal with any issues arising.
Regular quote follow up to maximise sales conversion
Deliver destination / product presentations to schools in person and or virtually, out of hours if required.
Produce accurate quotes, confirmations and invoices.
Provide cover on the emergency phone rota.

School Travel Specialist - Skills & Experience Required:

Proven travel sales experience preferably within tour operations / educational travel OR as a teacher specifically of geography or humanities.
Flexible approach with an ability to thrive in a busy, fast paced role, effectively managing and prioritising workload.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong numerical ability.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent teamwork.
Exceptional customer service focus.
Able to demonstrate Influencing and negotiating skills
Excellent spoken and written English
Practical experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

School Travel Specialist - Additional Information:

Salary £28k to £30k dependent on experience plus commission
Hybrid office / home based role, circa 2 days in the office.
Monday to Friday 9 to
Out of hours phone cover on a rota basis.
