Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance to join our team in Northampton NN6


As a CB Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, load/unload pallets into/from the lorries.

Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods.


Working hours
:
Monday - Friday 8 pm am OT available

Duties:


  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production area
  • Stack and organize products or materials in designated storage areas
  • Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
-
Valid & certified CB licence
-
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse - minimum 2 years of experience

  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
