Description
Acorn is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Load Security Auditor for a well-known contractor within the steelworks in Llanwern. This is a temporary 3-month contract initially, but could lead to long term work.

  • Able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Safetyfocused, with a passion for high standards
  • Have a flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills

Main duties:

  • Perform checks on vehicle loading standards, driver qualifications and general load information
  • Record data and complete documentation in a timely manner, including using a phonebased app
  • Highlight and escalate safetyrelated issues
  • Liaise with hauliers and personnel as required during loading and vehiclecheck operation
  • Comply with safety & security instructions at all times

Role requirements:

  • Full driving licence
  • Own transport
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm (part-time hours can be considered)

Pay:
£10 per hour
