Part-Time - 20 hours per week

Meets National Minimum Wage requirements - Up to 22 years - National Minimum Wage Rate of £ 10.18/ our - 23 years and over - National Living Wage Rate of £10.42/hour

As a Community Centre Operative what does the role entail:

Your day will consist of

Preparation of rooms so that all events, activities and classes take place.
To maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all rooms, furniture and equipment.
To maintain a reasonable level of behaviour by members and users.
To be polite, courteous and helpful to all users of the building.
To work main reception and bowling reception duties

This job is for you, if

You have experience working within a community based centre, within public, private or voluntary sector
You have good communication skills both written and verbal.
You have a calm personable nature and find appropriate resolutions when handling conflict.
You are a resilient and confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a team.
You understand the need for confidentiality with a professional and caring approach to work
You can work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
