Part-Time - 20 hours per week

Meets National Minimum Wage requirements - Up to 22 years - National Minimum Wage Rate of £ 10.18/ our - 23 years and over - National Living Wage Rate of £10.42/hour

As a Community Centre Operative what does the role entail:

Your day will consist of

  • Preparation of rooms so that all events, activities and classes take place.
  • To maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all rooms, furniture and equipment.
  • To maintain a reasonable level of behaviour by members and users.
  • To be polite, courteous and helpful to all users of the building.
  • To work main reception and bowling reception duties

This job is for you, if

  • You have experience working within a community based centre, within public, private or voluntary sector
  • You have good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You have a calm personable nature and find appropriate resolutions when handling conflict.
  • You are a resilient and confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a team.
  • You understand the need for confidentiality with a professional and caring approach to work
  • You can work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
