Description

Hazel Tree Education are supporting a specialised Provision in Leyland.

The school offers academic and therapeutic support to young people
aged 9-16 who face various challenges associated with
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, including those who face communication and behavioural challenges associated with
Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Monday

Duties:

Confidently manage challenging behaviour using skills to deescalate situations.
Mentor and engage with the students, delivering specifically designed education plans.
Creating a stimulating environment for the children you'll be working with.
Supporting the teacher in keeping pupil records, such as attainment and pupil progress or activities.
Right to work in the UK
Experience working with children in a formal setting e.g. residential/school
An empathetic, resilient and compassionate nature
Willingness to undertake additional training and opportunities for Continuous Professional Development
At least two references including most recent/current employer
A DBS on the Update Service or the means to acquire one
