Hazel Tree Education are supporting a specialised Provision in Leyland.


The school offers academic and therapeutic support to young people
aged 9-16 who face various challenges associated with
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, including those who face communication and behavioural challenges associated with
Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Working hours

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 8:303:00

Duties:


  • Confidently manage challenging behaviour using skills to deescalate situations.
  • Mentor and engage with the students, delivering specifically designed education plans.
  • Creating a stimulating environment for the children you'll be working with.
  • Supporting the teacher in keeping pupil records, such as attainment and pupil progress or activities.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience working with children in a formal setting e.g. residential/school
  • An empathetic, resilient and compassionate nature
  • Willingness to undertake additional training and opportunities for Continuous Professional Development
  • At least two references including most recent/current employer
  • A DBS on the Update Service or the means to acquire one
