Customer Service Advisor - Portadown - Hybrid Working Available


Our client, a successful energy firm based in the Portadown area have a requirement for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a full time permanent basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • To resolve problems to customer's satisfaction within agreed timelines, effectively and efficiently.
  • Logging of site visits, including organising part orders and delivery
  • Producing quotes
  • Maintain high accuracy in all aspects of order processing including processing of credit card transactions
  • To achieve KPI Targets as set by the Service Manager.
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future sales.
  • Recording and tracking sales.
  • To develop and maintain a full knowledge of Kingspan's products and services.
  • Provide a high quality professional service to internal & external customers
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships e.g. field engineers
  • To ensure procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to.
  • Any other ad hoc duties which may involve direct contact with other departments.
  • Maintain and promote a compliance culture throughout the organisation in order to ensure the highest levels of integrity, honesty and professionalism.
  • Promote the highest possible standards of health, safety, environmental, quality and product compliance, ensuring that compliance is an integral part of the business and our requirements and procedures.

Essential Criteria

  • Five GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • Minimum 2 years experience in customer service dealing with calls and queries within a formal customer service environment
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability and desire to sell
  • Effective & active listening
  • Ability to manage information and process in accurate and timely fashion
  • A positive, confident and determined approach
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong customer focus and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent IT Skills

Desirable Criteria

  • Third level qualification in Customer Care / Sales
