Time Appointments are excited to be working on behalf of one of the worlds leading shipping companies. Our client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their busy team at their offices in Ipswich.

As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for providing preparation and analysis of working papers relating to month end and year end reporting, PSA, Corporation Tax, VAT and Carbon reporting.

You will ensure compliance of financial standards andlegislation are met.

Key Duties:

Help improve profitability and cash flow through the execution of effective financial control
Produce statutory accounts in accordance with the relevant accounting principles and legislation
Prepare the audit working papers for year end
Complete month end reporting
Prepare VAT returns
Prepare working papers for PSA, Corporation Tax and SECR

Previous Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified accountant in either ACCA or ACA
Advanced Excel skills
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Able to operate effective reporting standards in line with IFRS and FRS 10
Knowledge and experience of SAP financials would be advantageous but not essential
