Receptionist

HOURS: 4 days a week to include alternative weekends
9am - 5pm
A medium size Nursing home, with both nursing and residential residents, set in seven acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, that offers a boutique care experience for their guests, ensuring home really does mean home.
This home is not on any public transport routes.
Responsibilities
Set in 7 acres of garden, this home has been completely refurbished to a high standard.
The new owners are seeking experienced & dedicated staff to become part of an outstanding team providing the highest level of support & compassionate care to residents.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a friendly, organised and welcoming individual with excellent communication and listening skills to greet visitors, handle enquiries and make telephone calls.
You will be responsible for:
- Answering and handling calls
- Making calls to healthcare professionals and service users' families
- Accurately taking messages
- Sorting incoming post
- Completing some documentation
- Greeting and directing visitors
- Ordering supplies
- Managing diaries
Requirements:
- Experience of a similar role
- Equivalent to GCSE English and maths at C or above
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Friendly and welcoming personality
