Admiral Pioneer is looking for a Finance Business Partner / Senior Management Accountant to join the team as we continue to develop our processes as the business grows.


In this role, you'll gain experience in a wide range of areas including management accounting, financial reporting, budget setting and regulatory reporting, and develop relationships with colleagues across the business and wider Admiral Group.

Responsibilites

In the role you will:

  • Take an active role in forming the budgets/forecasts for the Pioneer businesses.
  • Support in the delivery of the monthly management information, including preparing and presenting monthly performance packs to Senior Managers.
  • Establish and lead a financial process for the launch of new products, including accounting and ensuring key controls are in place and that the required data/ reporting is available.
  • Be responsible for leading the CAPEX work as per IAS 38 (Intangibles).
  • Be the most senior accountant within the team, so will be responsible for supporting your peers with a wide range of queries.
  • Lead the production of the monthly insurance reporting.
  • Support in the production of monthly accounting and submission to Group Finance
  • Assist with the preparation of data for regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with the Finance Group Minimum Standards, and implement improvements as required.
  • Provide a point of contact to the wider business for finance related queries.
  • Provide general support and perform adhoc tasks as required.

Requirements:


  • Qualified accountant with strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A "can do" attitude towards work selfmotivated and proactive.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience of leading and motivating a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when producing work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with management across the business and wider Group.
  • Strong task management skills including ability to balance both project and adhoc work with regular reporting responsibilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is ideal but not a requirement.
  • Experience of insurance is beneficial but not a requirement.
