Chief Technical Officer / Chief Financial Officer

  • 37 hour working week Fully remote role, travel required throughout the South West of England and the surrounding areas (including London), depending on operational needs and events
  • Salary £43,068 per annum and rising to £45,447 per annum after qualifying period


Are you a proactive and dynamic Chief Technical or Financial Officer seeking an opportunity where you really can make a difference to businesses in the area.

Are you a senior manager with a strategic outlook and the ability to work as part of a small team? We are currently seeking a Chief Technical Officer /Chief Financial Officer to join a small cyber initiative attached to Wiltshire Police.


You will thrive in a busy and fast paced environment, working with a team to deliver Cyber security information to local businesses and organisations.

As part of the Senior Leadership team, you will have the ability to deliver complex information in an audience friendly format, engaging and supporting the local community to ensure that businesses are cyber secure and aware of threats and weaknesses within their business.


Main duties will include:


  • Being the first point for businesses contacting the organisation, supporting and providing advise regarding Cyber Security
  • Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with partner organisations, networking and sharing information as appropriate
  • Upskilling business owners and groups, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to protect their business
  • Ensuring the business runs as a professional and efficient organisation, adhering to regulatory rules and regulations

The successful applicant will have:


  • Knowledge and understanding on Cyber security and tools available to protect businesses
  • Strong communication skills, ideally gained within a training or educational environment
  • Proven business acumen, experienced in working at a senior level, ensuring the organisation operates as viable enterprise, ensuring compliance with regulatory rules and requirements.
Any opportunity listed as secondment or fixed term, has the potential to extend or become permanent in the future.
