We are currently working with a world class organisation who specialise in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of actuation and critical flow systems globally, who are looking to investment in the recruitment of a HSE Manager to managed their health,safety and environmental activities across their flagship manufacturing facility in Bath.

The main responsibilities of this role will be to drive a cultural change across the facility to embody HSE and associated policies and procedures, being responsiblefor creating strategic plans to support corporate objective as part of the Management Team.

As HSE Manager you will be required to:

Development of the 12 Global Standards. The Standards are based on the business risk profile.
Run HSE related training and competency programmes for the Bath facility (Plant & Corporate).
Manage and maintain ISO Certifications related to HSE. (ISO 45001, 14001 &
Ensure the legal compliance register is updated and any relevant actions are communicated and closed out in a timely manner.
Manage the implementation of behavioural and cultural safety programmes, including coaching discussions and running safety kaizen events.
Ensure that the sites Risk Assessment and Process Instruction programmes are supported with the technical SME advice required.
Develop an energy reduction programme for the facility in line with group strategy.
Manage the HSE internal audit programme for the facility. Also be part of the group audit team by completing audits at other business locations.
Manage the daily cadence required for inputting lagging and leading data into the HSE CE incident database.

As HSE Manager you will have:

A suitable qualification, ideally a degree
Proven experience of successfully of managing health, safety and environmental activities across business operations being able create strategic plans and implement them accordingly to drive change.
An adept ability to identify areas for improvement and implement processes and procedures to drive and improve performance with HSE.
Exposure of NEBOSH, IEMA and ISO ideally as a Lead Auditor
Excellent communication and leadership skills, being able to engage with senior levels managers and shopfloor staff to influence cultural change
