About the Role:

A great opportunity to join an iconic brand in a critical, high visibility, senior marketing role.

As Robinsons Marketing Controller you will play a pivotal role in delivering our Mission 2025 ambition for the brands in our Flavour Concentrates portfolio, and as a senior member of the Marketing community, for the broader GB Marketing & Innovation agenda.

Responsible for the Robinsons family and adult dilutes brands (Core, Creations, Cordials), you will lead the brand and cross functional team to deliver the in year brand plan and framework for future growth, playing a critical role in accelerating growth for Robinsons and Britvic.

This is a fantastic role for a growth focused, ambitious individual, on Britvic's biggest own brand. Reporting directly to the Brand Director, with line manager responsibility for two brand managers and one assistant brand manager.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in shaping and delivering the commercial business agenda through the development of business annual operating and commercial plans.
  • Lead the extended team in becoming brand led by taking accountability for turning our brand visions into reality, owning key brand metrics (incl full financial P&L) and connections to other functions.
  • Deliver the Robinsons roadmap for transformational growth: inspire the business to deliver bold brand and category strategies, building excitement and commitment to brand plans: Act as the guardian of the brand and identity. Translate the 3 year strategy into a detailed activity plan.
  • Lead the development and execution of the brand annual operating plan, bringing this to life across the commercial function to build cross functional engagement and inspire delivery.
  • Lead the development and execution of leadingedge marketing programs and activities that create sustainable brand led growth, ensuring collateral is available on time in full and is appropriate to the relevant channel to facilitate exceptional execution.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development within the wider Robinsons Brand team (role model on behaviours), and specifically to your direct reports.
  • Lead development, career pathing and succession planning for your direct reports.
  • Input the right talent strategy for the Robinsons brand team and the wider GB marketing perspective (career pathing and succession planning)
  • Manage and successfully develop relationships with agency partners to deliver ideas that build brand equity and drive performance.
  • Accountable for the delivery of the brand AOP objectives and annual budget.
  • Provide clear direction for all cost and revenue investment across the total brand P&L (consumer, shopper, customer)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:


  • A track record of developing an inspiring and compelling vision and brand strategy, delivering step change performance
  • Demonstrable track record of success driving a large brand led agenda within commercial, matrix organisations, resulting in brand equity growth and enhanced business profitability.
  • Extensive experience gained within a branded environment, preferably FMCG, working on a significant brand/ market leader
  • Proven experience in leading strategic brand and business planning with sound evidence of consumer & shopper insightled strategy implementation
  • High level of Brand P&L value management experience
  • Strong project management, planning and delivery skills
  • Proven reputation for managing 3rd party creative and activation agencies
  • Direct team line management experience with ability to inspire, grow and develop people
  • Experience of A&P Budget control at portfolio and brand level
