Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday, 06,00-18,00
Job Description:
Supporting the Warehouse Management Team in the day to day running of the Stock Control and Warehouse function, ensuring all processes and administration are monitored and managed effectively to allow the efficient operation of the site.
To take a proactive approach to managing the stock control team, including performance and identifying areas of training and development.
Key Duties of a Stock and Admin Supervisor:
- Ensure case pick location counts are carried out in required timeframe to allow sufficient time for replenishment and picking to meet loading deadlines
- Ensuring all customer reports, returns and inbound deliveries are managed within agreed timeframes
- Conducting PI or stock counts are carried out within customer defined timescales
- Liaising with Warehouse Management Team to ensure adequate labour cover is in place at all times including during peak periods and holiday cover.
- Ensure customer queries are dealt with appropriately and efficiently by staff with support where required, escalating issues which cannot be resolved
- Ensure all system queries & issues are resolved effectively
- Check preinvoice for all suppliers.
- Maintaining system in accordance with customer and system requirements
- Ensure your team are communication effectively with their colleagues and the warehouse management team on what is required daily
- Monitoring pick layout and liaising with operational colleagues daily to improve the efficiency of the pick to drive down cost and improve productivity
- Dealing with any team issues effectively and in line with Company policy.
- Responsible for the reporting of KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Educated to GSCE level or equivalent relevant qualifications
- Operational experience within a temperaturecontrolled warehouse environment, in stock control
- Experience of leading a team
- KPI reporting
- Working in a performance managed environment
- Identify training needs of your team
- Knowledge of stock control principles & warehouse operations
- Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
- Generate statistical information gathering
- Warehouse management systems (Manhattan)
- Thoroughness/attention to detail
- Customer understanding
