About the role

Tadcaster Primary Academy are looking to recruit a dedicated After School Club Assistant, this role is for 10 hours a week to be worked during the school term time.

The hours are as follows, Monday - Friday, 3.30pm - 5.30pm. This is initially a fixed term position until December 2023, with the possibility of extending this further.

The job requirements

To be successful for this role you will ideally have a qualification in childcare with good knowledge of child development and playwork.

You will have knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to the care and learning of children in an After School Club setting.

A good understanding of Ofsted standards is also highly desirable.

You will ensure that the club provides high-quality childcare, within a positive safe and happy environment while adhering to the club's policies.

You will also support out values and culture here at Tadcaster Primary Academy.
