SEND Teaching Assistant/Midday Meals Supervisor Vacancy

Fixed term until 31 August 2024

Salary:


Role 1:

SEND TA
Scale 3, spine points 5-6 (£27,030-£27,438 per annum, full time equivalent)

Actual pro-rata salary: £18,513 per annum


Role 2:
Midday Meals Supervisor

Scale 1, spine point 3 (£26,238 per annum, full time equivalent)

Actual pro-rata salary: £3,184 per annum

The above salaries will be paid on an annualised basis.

Contract:
Fixed-term - 5 days per week (contract to 31 August 2024)

Hours: 8.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday (term time only plus Inset days).

The Midday Meals Supervisor duties will be incorporated into the hours of work.

The Role:


We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant/Midday Meals Supervisor who is passionate about pupils' learning, enjoys being with children, has a positive attitude, and can work as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team.


You will need:

  • Recent and relevant experience of working with children across the primary age range, years. Experience of working with children with special educational needs would be a particular advantage.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in the role, you may be working with a whole class, a small group or individual children
  • A desire and enthusiasm to make a difference for our children with a caring and approachable nature
  • High expectations for all pupils
  • To be highly motivated, have strong team working skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
  • Educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent with passes including English and Maths at Grade C or above.
