Description

Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Birmingham (Bordesley Green), in their search for a Construction/Brickwork Lecturer.

Both full time and part time hours are available.

This role offers £23.00 per hour, plus statutory holiday pay.

The role:

To teach Construction.

Key responsibilities:

Liaise with parents/guardians, schools and other organisations as appropriate.
Carry out appropriate course administration including lesson plans and schemes of work.
Comply with the Quality Assurance procedures of the College.
Maintain appropriate learning resources.
Participate in college Enrolment, Induction and Open Days and attend meetings, marketing events and other relevant functions as required by the line manager.
Ensure "In Attendance" time is carried out to meet the needs of the students.
To carry out student assessments using a range of techniques and tools determined by the College.
Monitor the academic progress of students on their courses, including tracking skills and arranging additional support where required.
Previous teaching experience is desirable
Industry experience is essential
