As part of our journey to becoming Europe's most effective advertiser we are building a media strategy and testing department to sit within the Media Strategy and Performance team.

The team will lead the development of best practice strategic guidelines for all markets based on the insight generated from a full range of advanced measurement tools and methodologies, including a new A/B testing capability.

The new testing team will design, deploy and evaluate marketing tests, integrating results with econometrics and scaling via our strategic media "golden rules".

We are looking for a Media Testing Lead to take a pivotal role in establishing and running the testing programme as part of the newly created team.


What you'll do:

  • Support the Head of Media Strategy in driving media efficiency across the Sky portfolio, working closely with senior partners to establish the testing programme
  • Identify and prioritise incampaign testing opportunities, identifying tests that challenge current marketing approach and improve media and creative efficiency across ATL and digital channels
  • Support team with analysing test results using sales and brand KPIs, and developing valuedriving insights
  • Provide media testing expertise to teams across the Sky group by developing and sharing best practice including important metric selection and inchannel set up
  • Lead systematic integration and scaling of test learnings across media campaigns alongside Sky's media planning team, marketing teams and external agencies
  • Manage Media Analyst and Scaling Manager responsible for the design and widespread adoption of tests and associated insights
  • Manage testing budget and costs working closely with media planning team, marketing teams, finance team and external agencies

What you'll bring:

  • Media expert with inhouse media team or media agency experience; with experience leading a team
  • Selfstarter with track record of driving transformations across organisations
  • Confidence in handling and influencing senior partners and csuite strong presentation skills are key (written and verbal)
  • Good knowledge of digital and offline channels required
  • Datadriven and analytical, with experience in media testing, preferably AB or Matched Market methodologies
  • A commercial approach and experience of working with significant budgets
