We're currently seeking a meticulous Timetabling Officer to join our team You'll play a vital role in coordinating our institution's timetable efficiently, working closely with academic and administrative teams.

Responsibilities include creating, managing, and distributing timetables, as well as handling room bookings and monitoring academic utilisation. Your expertise will ensure smooth operations and contribute to our academic success. Join us in delivering top-quality timetabling services and enhancing efficiency


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the creation, management, and dissemination of the institution's timetable.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to deliver accurate individual timetables.
  • Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of the academic process and its alignment with timetabling.
  • Collaborate closely with program leaders, deans, and principals to check and update timetables.
  • Manage subcontracted teaching hours and allocate them efficiently.
  • Proactively review the contribution of the teaching timetable to improve space utilisation and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Manage expectations of staff and students by confirming appropriate and realistic timetable solutions through detailed requirement gathering.
  • Understand the workload model and prepare the timetable accordingly.

Essential Experience:


  • Experience in higher education
  • Relevant work experience
  • Experience of timetabled systems
  • Experience or academic processes
  • Educated to A level and GCSE in English and Maths
  • Good attention to detail
  • Working under pressure and deadlines

Pay:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
