Our Goods-In facility is a key service for our campuses at Malmesbury and Hullavington, which ensures the business needs are met efficiently.
About the role:
As lead of the Goods In team based at our Malmesbury & Hullavington campuses, you will support the Estates Facilities function by supervising and coordinating the work of the Goods In team based at those sites.
This is a hybrid role where you will spend time working alongside your team as well as looking after administrative tasks.
Flexibility will be required to support at both sites.Key Accountabilities
- Line management of Goods In team
- Recording delivery of all items using established systems/processes
- Supervision of team in carrying out their duties
- Monitor KPI's, maintain service provision and report on results
- Proactive ownership of the Goods In facility standards
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business requirements
- Review existing processes and develop as required
- Write and update RAMS associated with team tasks
- Work collaboratively with Facilities Manager to ensure service operations are effective
- Actively partake in Estate's forums and continuous improvement
About you:
- Working in an operational team environment with supervision of others
- Forklift truck licence
- Experience of Goods In/storage/warehouse operations
- Confident with use of IT
- Customer service
- Working outside
- Driving Licence essential
