Description

London South Bank University (LSBU) is looking to appoint a Payroll Clerk to join the payroll team within the Finance and Management Information department.

As the Payroll Clerk, your main responsibilities will be to process weekly worker pay claims, student expense claims and general payroll duties all the group payroll.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team with mínimal supervision.
  • Able to handle sensitive information.
  • Able to problem solve.
  • Be willing to learn new skills.

The skills and experience you will need to be successful

  • Experience of using iTrent is desirable.
  • Experience in working with multiple Contracts of Employment.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Experience working in an educational environment.
  • Previous experience of using different payroll and financial systems.

Details about the role
This role is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week.


Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
