Multi-Trades Recruitment is looking for a Motor fire and theft claims handler for a well-established company in TONBRIDGE.

  • Secondary education or equivalent with demonstrable ability in numeracy skills and written English

About the job:


  • Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Salary: £25448
  • Process fire and theft claims in line with existing claims philosophy
  • Ensure that DPA, TCF, and any other regulatory requirements are adhered to
  • Liaise with the internal support team and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service
  • Answer inbound calls from customers and representatives in a professional manner, answering queries, and complaints and providing updates on claims
  • Be able to identify potential thirdparty claims exposure in theft claims, specifically where stolen vehicles may be recovered from damaged
  • Identity suspicious claims and flag them to the Fraud Investigation Team
  • Ensure that complaints are recorded on the complaints system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide support to the Team Manager by ensuring delivery of own performance against agreed objectives, KPIs and SLAs
  • Plan and execute strategic initiatives to agreed timelines
  • Ensure a relevant level of technical understanding with continuous development and learning.
