MacKenzie King are delighted to be supporting a regional firm of accountants in their search for a Tax Manager.

Reporting directly into and working alongside the partners you will actively develop and manage your own client workload and assist the Partnerswith developing new business.

As Tax Manager for the Firm you will work with all members of the team and be responsible for all taxation processes.

Duties and responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact on taxation within the Practice.
Be conversant in all areas of tax management including Trusts, Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.
Verifying and confirming data for given accounting systems.
Work to ensure compliance in all financial transactions.
Actively work to develop new client business.
Represent the Practice on behalf of the Partners as required at social and community events.
Support and supervise Staff. Actively develop and encourage members of the team.

You will be a Qualified CTA/ ATT or qualified by experience. You will ideally have worked in a similar environment and have broad knowledge of taxation practices and terminology.

You will have worked under pressure and be used to working to deadlines aswell as keeping up to date with current legislation.

You will have gravitas and the ability to lead a team and contribute to the individual members within that team.
