Looking to join a dynamic, focussed and growing team at the forefront of one of the most critical platforms in the future UK Armed forces?


An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to manage the trade space between other Systems Functions and Security.

This role is based within the Systems Analysis Cyber Security Team and focussing initially on the Future Combat Air Systems (FCAS) project


What we're looking for from you:

  • An understanding of priority and criticality of security functions and envelope of trade space, and wider systems design challenges
  • Management of customer expectations
  • Basic Security knowledge and willingness to learn more (more is better)
  • Negotiating skills
  • Assertiveness and ability to challenge decisions
  • Engineering lifecycle experience
  • Requirements (writing, managing and accessing)
  • Accreditation environment and stakeholder management
  • Competence to develop effective networks across the key stakeholders of the business
  • Willingness to undergo DV cleared is essential

Position - Systems Security Lead - Permanent

Salary - £50k (Plus bonus scheme and overtime available)

Location - Bristol

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens.

Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
