We have a fantastic opportunity to join our award winning Ski department as our Head of Digital Product.With the responsibility for all of our customer facing online ski products - we are looking for a Head of Product to develop a digital product strategy in line with our overall Ski Strategy and 5 year plan.
We're looking for a creative individual who has the experience and ability to confidently make game changing calls with the ability to deliver on the here and now but also have an eye on the horizon.
About Iglu:
Key Responsibilities:
This role will join the Ski team with the full responsibility for the performance of Search, online bookings and site conversion.
- Being involved in the day to day strategy execution whilst also planning for the medium/long term
- Constantly improving metrics sitewide, such as; site conversion, navigation, online booking and search
- Work with MD to translate business objectives into a workable roadmap with realistic milestones
- Translate technical solutions and issues to non technical colleagues
- Delivering quality products to enhance customer experiences
- Conversion rate optimisation
- Create deeper understanding of on site customer behaviour
- Execute on projects & initiatives in alignment with the Product team's tactical and strategic goals.
- Able to drive forward product roadmaps using qualitative & quantitative data.
- Inspire and guide along with conceiving and implementing experiments geared towards driving conversion growth.
- Work closely with engineers and Product owner by openly and continuously communicating product vision, delivery objectives.
- Collaborate with the product designers & owners to ideate and build prototypes for new features.
- Participate in team scrums and assist Product owners if needed
Skills and Experience:
- Working with search comparisons / large amount of data
- Working with a online ecommerce platform
- Understanding of Technical SEO
- Strong understanding / previous role in UX and design
- At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a B2C business
- Experience building and optimising websites, business goals and SEO best practices in mind
- Experience working with qualitative and quantitative customer insights and capturing these
- Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems
- Experience using a project management tool such as Jira
- Knowledge of all Agile principles
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytical skills to help solve problems and make decisions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
- Proven track record of shipping product features that deliver results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience working in Product in the travel sector
- Experience working in a business with a call centre and online ecommerce platform
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL
- Understanding of the Ski market
