We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Technical Officer/Cleaner - Band 2

This is an entry level position and the last 2 post holders have been promoted internally.

Previous applicants need not apply

  • Undertake specialist cleaning of the Aseptic and Non-Sterile Unit
- requiring a 7am start of working day

  • Be involved in the preparation of nonsterile medicines following set procedures
  • Complete overlabelling of medicines
  • Be involved in stock checks
  • Be responsible for goods receiving of medicines
  • Have an opportunity to learn about Good Manufacturing Practice

Applicants must have:


  • Maths and English at Grade C
  • Have an aptitude for practical work
  • Be able to work methodically and accurately
  • Perform effectively under pressure
  • Have an excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment or alone
Full training will be given for the post
