A little bit about what we are looking for...

You will be assisting in the delivery of a high level rehousing service to our customers through exchanges, transfers or temporary moves whilst offering support across housing services on the maintenance of the housing management system.


We are happy to offer hybrid working with this role; You will be required to be in the office for around 2/3 days per week with the rest being from home, however please bear in mind we may need you to be in the office more within your probation and training.

It's important to us that you feel fully ready and confident in the role before working from home. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too


Your responsibilities...

  • Assist in the delivery of a quality Mutual Exchange, Decant and Priority Transfer service to existing tenants and prospective customers
  • Take a leading role in the provision of short term temporary moves, regularly reviewing the process to ensure the service our customers receive is to an excellent standard
  • To work closely with other departments to ensure that effective communication is achieved at all levels
  • Understand the company's business priorities and use the daily structure to ensure you are focused on key activities that achieve the core objectives
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Home Moves Team through recommending new working methods. Involvement on working groups to review and recommend improvements, including new systems
  • Ensure the processes, systems, policies and procedures are adhered to and to contribute to the development of any reviews
  • Collate reliable, accurate, and timely management information for the Home Moves Team Leader
  • Help to promote sustainable tenancies through ensuring the correct checks are completed and where required support provisions are put in place
  • Ensure that all new customers' information is inputted into the relevant housing management data base within the allocated timescales
  • Process any updates or amendments to the housing management system on behalf of the wider Housing Services department

  • Strong admin experience
  • Experience working in a customer facing role
  • Good IT skills
  • An understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation preferred
