Embedded Software Engineer
An
Embedded Software Engineer is required to join the electronics and controls team of a leading vehicle manufacturer.

This role is open to recent
Graduates of
Electronic Engineering or
Software Engineering OR more experienced
Embedded Software Engineers looking for an opportunity to work for a world-class business.

Office based,Commutable from Ellesmere Port, Chester, Wrexham, Crewe, Nantwich, Whitchurch, Broughton, Mold, Ruthin, Llangollen, Chirk, Oswestry, Wem, Market Drayton

Salary up to £50k (dependent upon experience) + enhanced benefits

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in
Electronics Engineering, software engineering or similar
STEMqualification.

Cor
C++ programmingknowledge is required.

You should be able to work in a
structured software development process with experience of using
SCM tools.
Experience of the following is beneficial but by no means essential:
Vector tools such as Canalyzer, Canoe or Canape
Atlassian tool suite

The Role

Design and develop transmission
software in
embedded C.
Interpret
functional requirements to produce high level and low level design artifacts.
Work within the
software development process based around the
V model.
Generate
V&V tests and
automated validation test scriptsin
Pythonand
VTest Studio.

Debug and
fault find issues at both hardware and software level.
