Aspen Hill Village in Hunslet, Leeds are currently looking for a Clinical & Governance Inspector who will be responsible for managing the Home's auditing and business improvement function across 6 individual homes based at one location.

The successful individual will be experienced in practising and reviewing operational performance within a healthcare environment, with a preference towards Elderly care.


The successful individual will report to the Registered Manager and regularly audit the processes and practices on site in line with CQC KLOE, review the capability of the organisation, and identify areas for improvement.

The individual will also regularly benchmark the Home's performance against a basket of Top Quartile competitors with a view of becoming outstanding across Health, Financial and Quality outcomes.

The organisation is looking for a confident, assertive and professional individual who has excellent communication and management skills.

The individual must be a self starter with the ability not only to develop action plans, but also to monitor and review the outcomes.


The role will encompass the following responsibilities:

Compliance:


  • Work with the NHS Leeds ICB, Quality Improvement Team to ensure our service meets and exceeds their standards
  • Develop and manage a framework of assuring the key standards are being met by the organisation against published standards
  • Regularly undertake management audits both announced and unannounced to ensure the business is operating in line with nationally and locally published standards
  • Benchmark performance against key external attributes that will lead to an "Outstanding" service provider
  • Review and audit all operating practices, policies and procedures, and ensure the Extended Leadership team maximise the use of the resulting action plans leading to Top Quartile performance
  • Undertake regularly staff, resident, relative and health professional satisfaction measurement
