Reed are delighted to be working with an outstanding NHS Trust based out of Southend who urgently need a
Data Warehouse Developer to giveTechnical Support for a upgrade project as set out below.

NHS band 8a - £Umbrella£235 per day, £PAYE£188 per day

Job Details/ requirements
-
Excellent understanding of T-SQL
-
Familiar with stored procedures, functions, indexes, constrains, CTE, views, temp tables, table variables, linked servers, openquery, dynamic SQL etc.
-
Query Performance tuning
-
SQL Automation using SQL Agent
-
SSIS (different versions including 2008 and development, troubleshooting and package deployment.
-
MS SQL Server (different versions including 2008 R2 and 2019)
-
Query Optimization
-
Understanding of SQL Server security, access, permissions etc.

Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal and project management skills (actions, escalations, deadlines)

Experience:

-
Involved in SQL database migration ideally from SQL 2008 R2 to SQL 2019
-
Worked with different versions of MS Visual Studio (including BIDS 2008, VS 2019)
-
Experience with upgrading SSIS packages (including dts) from Package Deployment Model to Project Deployment Model, familiar with SSIS catalogue.

Experience in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL processes
-
Error handling and debugging (ETL, SSIS and SQL coding issues)
-
Possible experience with "Query Tuning Assistance"- tool available from SSMS 18.0 used for guidance on recommended compatibility level upgrade process - suggests hint-based improvements that can be deployed for individual queries.
- **Created IT technical documentation, hand over documentation, user guides etc.
