Our Client is the UK's biggest end-to-end commercial vehicle fleet management business managing and maintaining a fleet of 80,000 vehicles across 65 garages.
This is an exciting opportunity for a
Service Controller to join our team, working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours a week.
As a
Service Controller, you'll play a part in keeping some of the UK's biggest brands on the road, responsible for working as part of the Maintenance Control Team within the Customer Service Centre having responsibility for maintenance expenditure and providing administrative support on a range of commercial vehicles on varying contract types.

What you'll do
- Working as part of a team, the post holder will need to support the team sharing experience and knowledge to provide a high level of service delivery at all times
- Manage the daily Work in Progress reports ensuring that all jobs are correctly entered on system and that the WIP administration is controlled in line with business requirements
- Authorise maintenance expenditure within agreed parameters whilst ensuring all maintenance records are checked
- Ensure processes are followed to provide a costeffective repair solutions
- Ensure that the internal authorisation systems are managed daily so that job requests are processed or queried without delay
- Ensure that all calls are answered inline with the CSC criteria making sure that any inbound calls are answered promptly and dealt with accordingly
- Seek to drive down repair costs and rates charged by our suppliers by working with the fleet team to ensure that the most costeffective resources available are utilized
- Assist with customer complaints through to resolution
What you've got
- Two years customer services experience in a vehiclebased environment is desired but not essential
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle repairs, standard times and road transport operations would be an advantage
- High level of administration skills
- Selfmotivated and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Well organised and takes ownership of work

£20,764.50-£25,897.16 per year
