Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our Clients team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who enjoy being on the road and providing exceptional service.

It would be beneficial for some experience within the Removals industry.


Duties:


  • Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Plan routes and navigate efficiently using GPS or maps.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering items in a timely manner and handling any inquiries or concerns.
  • Every day is varied, and a normal working day is 8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday, you could be heading out on a couple of small deliveries, leaving at 8am and returning back to the warehouse for 13:00 then helping in the warehouse or a long day (8am to 7pm). Removals over two or three days are common as well as regular Nights out in the UK._

Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver.
  • Ability to operate a van safely and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Excellent navigation skills using GPS or maps.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and load/unload cargo as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.


Pay:
From £12.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
