_Role Description_


As a rapidly expanding and progressive business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Planning Team Lead to head up our Utilities Team.

The successful applicant must be well organised, have good communication skills and have experience leading a team.

  • Responsibilities_
  • Liaising with clients and councils, collating all information required to successfully quote, book and manage requested traffic management and permitting solutions, ensuring all information is recorded accurately on our inhouse system (REPS).
  • Manage the team work load and ensure it is fairly distributed, ensuring that your team members are meeting department KPIs
  • Support and mentor your Team and manage any issues or complaints.
  • Raise, and manage all supplier purchase orders for your team.
  • Conduct basic HR and performance management for your team, including training and development.
  • Assist Planning Manager with reports and represent the Department in the Manager's absence
  • Skills / Qualifications_
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • IT skills, Microsoft Packages.
  • Ability to solve problems proactively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Selfmotivated with a 'cando' attitude.
  • Target driven.
  • Traffic Management or EToN/Street Manager/Aurora experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch (40 hours per week).


Salary:
£29,000+ per annum based on experience - to be discussed at interview.
