Salisbury Medical Practice is looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic and resilient GP Assistant to join our Practice._

As a GP Assistant, you will be working within the Administration team, providing administrative management of the long-term conditions recall programme.

The post holder will be responsible for multiple long term disease registers and will be managing a robust recall system ensuring patients are invited in for their annual reviews in a timely manner.

The role will involve following an online 6-9 month structured programme completing a portfolio of evidence to gain a GPA Skills Certificate.

The portfolio is completed in-house with some protected time and GP mentorship.

The programme will mainly involve administrative competencies but will include some clinical competencies such as phlebotomy, blood pressure taking, urinalysis, height & weight etc.
