Are you an experienced and dependable Accounts Clerk seeking a new opportunity? We have a fantastic role available, where you'll be responsible for handling the day-to-day financial transactions of our thriving business.

We're searching for an individual who can efficiently manage both the Sales and Purchase ledgers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records, while effectively addressing supplier and customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Raise and issue sales invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with the Credit Controller to ensure proper recording of customer receipts.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, supplier statements, and other financial records to maintain precision.
Process supplier invoices promptly and ensure timely payments.
Handle credit card transactions and staff expense claims efficiently.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Take full ownership of the transactional accounts functions.
Foster positive relationships and maintain effective communication with customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an Accounts Clerk or similar role.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 50, along with strong general computer skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to work independently and autonomously.
AAT or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.
