We have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team within Cheshire West & Chester Council as the Head of Health & Wellbeing Finance.

Cheshire West and Chester Finance Service is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual, with a can do attitude to be responsible for overseeing the provision of a high quality financial service.

The post holder will achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and make a real and demonstrable difference to the Council's business.

The postholder will be responsible for managing the Council's Health & Wellbeing finance team which comprises financial support to the Health & Wellbeing Directorate and managing the Client Finance function.

The postholder will act as a member of Health & Wellbeing Departmental Management Team and provide independent and strategic financial advice to the Directorate, Corporate Management Board and Members.


The postholder will also be responsible for managing the Client Finance function, ensuring a customer focused service is provided to clients, including managing the financial assessment process and an efficient billing process.

You will also receive 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 31 days annual leave plus bank holidays after 5 years' service.

The role is designated as fully agile being home-based with occasional visits to various customers and partners located across Cheshire West and Chester.
