Allen Lane are delighted to be assisting a London based University with the recruitment of an interim Senior Finance Business Partner on a 6 month interim basis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering this position will play a key role om theUniversities effective budget management


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working with the Facility and senior leadership team to support them in their strategic business planning, 5 year plan and budget management.
  • Acting a Finance Business Partner to the Faculty providing financial oversight, advice, and training where necessary
  • Acting in a key leadership capacity at budget management meetings
  • Providing strategic support around projects and business plans and providing strategic advice around project evaluation
  • Providing monthly analysis and insight into the management accounts process
  • Overseeing the prevision and review of data as part of the statutory accounting process including Audit
Key Skills

  • Qualified member of an accounting body such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent
  • Experience in a Finance Business Partnering role in a complex environment
  • Experience of the Higher education sector is highly desirable
